Knockshannoch features multiple, welcoming rooms that are perfect for families. Not every family looks the same, so our lodge offers a variety of rooms from romantic couple-friendly queen rooms, to larger family rooms sleeping up to four people. While our rooms aren’t as big as other lodges, our focus is on ‘community’. We encourage families to get out of the private rooms and spend their time in our spacious lounge – allowing kids to mingle and play freely while their parents enjoy some relaxing downtime, enjoying a space that feels like a home away from home.

Knockshannoch Ski Lodge is one of only a few ski-in, ski-out lodges in Charlotte Pass. Located directly across from the Ticket Office and Gear Rental, we are truly the heart of the Village. That means no need to lug heavy gear up hills to get to the lifts and runs. You’re able to simply go out the front door, click in your boots and head off down to the T-bar. Fancy a cuppa? Pop back down to the lodge for a quick pit stop – easily stash your skis and boards right outside the front door.  Being able to move in and out of the lodge so easily makes snow life much less stressful when wrangling little ones…

• All inclusive meals: Enjoy the convenience of in-house chefs taking care of your every need. This is especially helpful for families with young children who may have specific dietary needs. Our chefs will cook your hearty breakfasts before hitting the slopes, delicious soups and quick bites for a speedy lunch and enjoy gourmet three-course dinners together after a day of adventures.  Our littlest guests enjoy a special ‘Kids Only’ dinner sitting – giving parents an opportunity to relax with adult company over their later evening meal.

The spacious outdoor area is perfect for snowman-making, igloo attempts and, most importantly, snowball fights. Or for enjoying a grown up cuppa on the deckchairs in the sunshine watching the kids tear up the slopes.
