Summer Activities
During the warmer months, Knockshannoch makes a great base for bushwalking, hiking and exploring the surrounding alpine country. Bring your walking shoes or your mountain bike and make the most of the beautiful Kosciuszko National Park.
Charlotte Pass is only eight kilometres from Australia’s highest peak, Mountain Kosciuszko, with the Main Range summit trail starting at the top of the village. Or visit the glacial Blue Lake and enjoy the spectacular views of the alpine high country.

Summer Bookings
Members and their guests are invited to enjoy the Snowy Mountains in the summertime, with self-catered, group accommodation bookings available. You’ll need to provide all the food items for self-catering in a commercial kitchen, all bedding and bed linen, towels and toiletries. Luckily, the journey to the village is much easier in summer – you can drive straight to the door and park next to the lodge.
Rates are valid from 01/11/23 to 01/05/2024 and are dependent on snow and vehicle access.
