How Our Winter Pricing Works
Room Rate (Base Rate)
Each room has a nightly room rate. This rate depends our date periods. We have peak, shoulder and low season rates.
The room rate:
Includes the first two guests, regardless of age
Applies per room, per night
Decreases the longer you stay
This means the longer your stay, the lower your nightly rate.
Additional Guest Rates
If more than two guests stay in a room, additional charges apply per person, per night.
Age categories:
Adults: 18+
Youth: 12–17 years (Youths are invited to join the Adult meals)
Children: 4–11 years (Cildren join an earlier dinner sitting with kids menu)
Toddlers: Under 4 (Equipment such as high chairs and cots need to be bought by guests)

Further information
Oversnow transport to and from the lodge is not included in accommodation rates. These can be purchased through Charlotte Pass Village.
We have a minimum two-night stay during winter.
Knockshannoch members receive:
- 20% off the nightly room rate
- $200 Accommodation credit valid each calendar year
- 20% discount also applies to a member’s children and grandchildren
Booking conditions
The fine print
Your booking will be paid in two instalments – the first 50% deposit to confirm your reservation (payable within 7 days of reservation) and the final 50% to be paid 30 days prior to your arrival date. Should you need to cancel your booking for any reason, there are a few conditions:
- Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to arrival will incur charges of 80% of your total booking fee, with a refund of the remaining fees
- Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to arrival will incur charges of 100% of your total booking fee.

Our books are officially open to the public. Visit our “Start Bookings” page to view our availability and room rates.
During winter we have low, shoulder and peak season rates depending on demand. These rates are displayed in our online system.
If you’re happy with your selection, submit the reservation requests and we will get back to you ASAP to confirm the booking.
